Mission
Our name ‘Cuentos’, which translates to stories, emphasizes our belief that every wedding film is a reflection of your story. Our goal is to capture not only the important moments of the day, but also craft your film into one filled with emotions and experiences you will forever cherish. We work closely with our couples to personalize our films and showcase their stories. We hope for you to look back at your ceremony, reception or highlight films in 5 years, 10 years, or 25 years and relive the small moments that made your wedding day special.

With a strong eye for composition and lighting, Jonathan Lopez is always looking for new moments to capture through his lens. With over 8 years of film experience, his journey has taken him all around the world, constantly seeking to create images that are equal parts honest and beautiful. In May 2019, he joined Alexis in creating Cuentos Films.

The younger of the two brothers, Alexis Lopez is an award winning filmmaker and documentarian from Chicago with more than 5 years of experience. With a passion for storytelling and documentary style filmmaking, he is interested in sharing couples’ stories and getting fun anecdotes for the films. In May 2019, he joined Jonathan in creating Cuentos Films.
